 Jane BassettAs we noted in the April 28 update, Jane has decided to leave the Big House Blues Band. The group is sad to see her leave and will miss her terribly. We wish her all the best in whatever her future brings. A note from Jane has been posted here on her bio page: Jane's letter
Despite Jane's absence, the band is as tight as ever and recording sessions continue on what will be the Big House Blues Band's 3rd album. The album is progressing very well and the band is excited about the results so far. Songs for approximately half of the album are currently in various stages of the recording process. Our official want ad reads: We are looking for an energetic, talented, professional singer with a desire to be an active participant in something very special. Original song/lyric writing ability preferred. We are an established 9-piece West Michigan regional blues/blues-rock band. We are heard on radio stations around the world and are heard locally on WGVU and WYCE FM in Grand Rapids. BHBB has opened for major musical acts. We are very proud of our following and strive very hard to maintain a good reputation. We rehearse and record weekly (Friday evenings / Saturday mornings) at our fully equipped rehearsal/recording studio in Muskegon.
