Ask those who know Kelly Quinn, and they will affectionately tell you that she learned to sing before she learned to talk. Always possessing an unwavering dream to be a singer, as a child she was rarely without a "microphone" in her hand - whether that microphone was a hairbrush, or a banana. After years of singing in choir, and receiving professional vocal training, Kelly pursued her singing career seriously starting at the age of 14, playing with Top-40 rock bands, and seeking exposure in any venue that would allow a minor to perform. By 1995, she was a well-established singer in her small town of Big Rapids, Michigan, at which time she made the decision to pack up her dreams and take them to Nashville, TN. This experience introduced Kelly to the fast-paced world of professional entertainment, and allowed her numerous opportunities to meet and perform with many master musicians/song writers including members from such groups as the Statler Brothers, Roy Orbison, and Martina McBride.
While Kelly was residing in Nashville, she recorded four songs at the popular Scruggs Studio. Studio musicians consisted of people who had worked with Engelbert Humperdinck, Trisha Yearwood and Shania Twain. In fact, the engineer who handled this project for Kelly ("Snake") also engineered Shania Twain's CDs in the past. These were original songs that were selected from a publishing company in Nashville.
Her journey then led her to Las Vegas in 1998. She regularly performs live at several popular locals pubs, and also hosts karaoke entertainment. Her magnetic personality and seasoned vocal stylings have helped her to establish a large and loyal fan base. Kelly is much loved for her impromptu sense of humor and seemingly endless wit and stamina on stage. Her warmth and positive attitude truly add that extra splash of flavor to an already incredible performance.
