Tenor Saxophone

I've played saxophone for over 15 years and picked up drumming around 2001. Music is major part of my life.

Saxophonists who have influenced me include Paul Desmond (Dave Brubek Quartet), John Coltrane, and LeRoi Moore (Dave Mathews Band). The Drummers who have influenced me include Jimmy Chamberlin, John Bonham, Daney Carey, and Keith Moon.

I played bari sax with the West Michigan Concert Winds for 5 years. My time with that ~70 piece ensemble culminated with a tour of Ireland and England.

I currently play tenor sax in the Big House Blues Band and I'm loving just about every minute of it. I also write or arrange all of our new horn charts. Can't wait to get our CD finished!
