The Big House Blues Band would like to send out an ecstatic "Thank You" to everyone that attended the group's performances this past weekend. The group had a fantastic time playing this weekend at Friday's "Parties In The Park" and Saturday's "Steak -N- Blues Festival", and would like to warmly thank everyone for being there.

The band was honored and awed playing in support of the legendary Larry McCray (click here for the official Larry McCary website) at Saturday's "Steak -N- Blues Festival". Larry is a master bluesman and an outstanding person. The group would like to thank Larry for his graciousness and for allowing our own Nick "The House" Houseman to play alongside of him for a few tunes that evening.

We'd also like to acknowledge Jordan Lunardini and the Bad Beat. These guys absolutely tear it up and we HIGHLY recommend that given the chance, you don't miss their show. Actually, we take that back - MAKE A POINT OF FINDING OUT WHERE THEY ARE PLAYING AND GO SEE THEM! Jordan and Frankie B absolutely light up the stage with their "on fire" guitar playing.

The Big House Blues Band is proud to have been chosen as the opening band for the blues/rock George Thorogood and the Destroyers concert July 2 at Heritage Landing in Muskegon.

What do you do for an encore when you’ve been at the top of your profession for thirty years? If you’re George Thorogood & The Destroyers you probably take a deep breath and dive right back into the life you’ve known best for three decades.

Thorogood sums up the Destroyers musical odyssey with a tip of his cap to the countless loyal supporters who’ve made their journey possible: “We’d never be in this position if it weren’t for our fans. They’re the real reason we keep going and as long as they want us, we’ll be there.”
