Elvy says: "I was born and raised in Morristown, New Jersey. My childhood was a happy one, being right in the middle of 4 girls and 3 boys. My parents were very supportive and endeavored to keep us children involved in various activities.  (I was a girl scout and attended summer camp, etc.) 

"My love of music began at a young age and I began singing with bands while in high school.  I've also tried my hand at the flute and the piano.

"After high school I attended a trade shool and later began working at an elevator company, all the while continuing to persue my musical interests.

"I moved to Michigan in 1998.  Since coming to Muskegon, I've completed courses at Muskegon Community College and most recently at Baker College.  My future plans include returning to Baker to complete my business degree.

"The musical groups I've been involved with have all, for the most part, been diversified. I have also recorded with the Western Michigan Teen Challenge choir and I sing at my church in Muskegon.

"I've had some hard knocks along the way.  Those hard times have brought me to a new place in my life.  I intend to give it all Ive got from this point on."
