The next Killer Blues show will be on September 18, 2009, at The Howmet Playhouse in Whitehall, MI. Headlining will be West Michigan's own Big House Blues Band, and will feature special guests RB & Company (another West Michigan Favorite), and Washboard Jo.

This show will be a benefit to raise money for the purchase of a headstone for Washboard Sam, aka: Robert Brown.

From the Killer Blues website: "Killer Blues is dedicated to preserving the legacies of the great blues men and women by raising funds to purchase headstones for those artists who through circumstance, or poverty, were buried in unmarked graves."

The historic Howmet Playhouse first opened in 1916. It currently is a top notch facility with a state-of-the-art stage lighting and sound system.
